10/10/10 KEYO Agricultural Services purchased 2 Bic 7.8 T-Rigs. Thank you for your continued support.

18/02/10 - Thank you to North Lincolnshire & Humberside Sailing Club for the grant of £200. This is to be used to support Max in his windsurfing expenses.

02/12/09 - Thank you to North Lincolnshire Council who have approved a Sports Grant Aid of £250. This is to be used towards training with the RYA National Junior under 17 Windsurfing Squad.

12/10/09 - Thank you to the R.O.A.B. La Wold Lodge, Barnetby, North Lincolnshire for the donation of £60. This will go towards the purchase of a National Squad Jacket.

01/10/09 - It with sincere thanks to the Barton Lions for their pledge to fund the entry fee to the International Windsurfing Association’s World Championships. The event which is due to take place in July 2010 is being held in Martiques, Southern France.

21/09/09 - Thank you to Hazel & John Bushell, nanna & grandad for the gift of £200. this has gone towards the National Squad fees.

15/09/09 - Many thanks to Peter and Jean Hall (neighbours)who have donated £100 to Max for his windsurfing. This will go towards the next twelve months National Squad Training fees.

KEYO Agricultural Services have purchased a complete Bic 6.8 T-Rig and harness lines in May 2009.

Barrow Squash Club allows Max to train using the gym equipment during the winter of 2008/09 & 2009/10.

Started: My friend Emma Labourne introduced me to windsurfing and I have been
hooked ever since

Favourite Conditions: 15 – 20 knots

Competition: Team 15 (an RYA initiative) got me into competitive windsurfing and then by attending UKWA events gave me more and more experience. I now attend both UKWA and RYA racing events all around the UK.

Achievements: Getting a place on the RYA North Zone Squad, moving up the sail sizes from 4.5m to now 6.8m over the last three/four years. Starring on BBC’s Blue Peter – ‘Take me on Challenge’, Year 8 Sports Captain for Treece House, and gaining selection for the RYA’s National Squad 2009/10

Free style tricks: I am trying to pull off a Vulcan but not yet (slowly learning), lay-downs, duck gybes, jumping small and non existent waves, water starts, up-wind 360’s, light wind helitacks, helitacks on the mast, but always looking for improvement and to expand my skills
