Report for Eric Twiname Championships 6 & 7 May 2008 and the National Windsurfing Championships 17 & 18 May 2008.Eric Twiname Championships 6 & 7 May. The Eric Twiname Championships were held a Rutland Sailing Club, Rutland Water. There was no wind at all on the Saturday so we had a sessions about the rules of racing and there were some organised games.
On the Sunday there was a little bit of wind, enough to get three races in. I tried my best but I would have liked more wind and I came 8th out of 16 racers in my 5.5 fleet. I was disappointed by my performance.
The National Windsurfing Championships 17 & 18 May 2008. This event was also held at Rutland Water but this time at Whitwell. I enjoyed this weekend more as there was more wind but I would have liked more. I came 4th in the 5.5 fleet this time which I was really pleased with as there were 18 other competitors.
